The Western Scout takes its cues from classic snap shirts that became popular across the American West in the mid-20th century. For the fabric, we sourced a 6.5 ounce cotton wool blend from Japan. The shirt features pearl barrel snaps sourced from Japan, a nod to the classic closures that defined vintage cowboy shirts. Cowboys favored them because they could be opened quickly or pulled free if the shirt got caught on a saddle, horn, fence, or piece of equipment. Each shirt is rinsed and pre-shrunk to ensure a consistent fit. As always, this Freenote garment is cut and sewn in the USA.
