Yorick Blanket

Yorick Blanket

Wool blanket designed by Björn Atldax. Part of the "Skull Project" collection.

In the play Hamlet everything has a meaning. Yorick’s skull reminds us of our mortality and the idea of equality in the afterlife. Bad weather is forebodings of terrible events to come.

The ghosts symbolizes the victory of evil. Ophelias flowers: Pansies and rosemary for remembrance, fennel for adultery. The mousetrap is Hamlet’s plan to frame his uncle.
