This white canvas low-top is a nod to the era that shaped the game, when sneakers were simple, dependable, and made to last. The All-American Low-Top is part of P.F. Flyers's Classic Americana Collection and draws from the legacy of Bob Cousy, the Celtics point guard who helped put P.F. Flyers on the map in 1958.

Designed with a washed canvas upper in antique white and accented with crisp crimson detailing, this low-top sneaker balances retro flavor with breathable comfort. Its laid back silhouette and lightweight build make it an easy pick for everyday wear.

Ready for long walks, short sprints, and everything in between, The All-American Low-Top keeps a low profile but delivers all day comfort. The outsole holds firm, the cushioning supports your stride, and the canvas wears in like a favorite tee.

For anyone looking for white canvas sneakers that bring together vintage inspiration and modern function, The All-American Low-Top delivers in every step.

  • Posture Foundation insole: The tech that put the "P.F." in P.F. Flyers. Developed in the 1930s and still relevant today, it delivers support, structure, and shock absorption that redefined canvas sneakers.
  • 10 oz. washed canvas: Tough, timeless, and already broken in. Inspired by well-worn classics that earned their scars the hard way.
  • Reinforced double stitching: At the quarter, heel, and eyestay. Because hardwood floors weren't always polished and smooth.
  • Gum rubber outsole & toe cap: Born from tire tech. Built for grip, built to last. A nod to P.F. Flyers's industrial roots and the courts of Cousy's day.

About P.F. Flyers

To the benefit of Celtic's legend Bob Cousy in the 1950s, cartoon adventurer Jonny Quest in the 60s, one Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez in the 1990s and countless others, P.F. Flyers has been slinging classic canvas Americana footwear designed to help you run faster and jump higher for nearly a century.

P.F. Flyers launched in the 1930s under the B.F. Goodrich Company when inventor Hyman L. Witman patented the "Posture Foundation" arch support insole, putting the P.F. in P.F. Flyers. Saved from acquisition by their competitors at Converse by an anti-trust lawsuit in the 1970s (interestingly, this is how Converse acquired the Jack Purcell brand from P.F. Flyers, where it was born), the brand floated around the portfolios of names you'd recognize before being relaunched by New Balance in the early aughts, and then discontinued once more. It was sometime between 2016 and 2020 that shop owner Ethan acquired his two pair - a classic white-black-and-red low top and the 1993 "Sandlot edition" all-black high-tops.

Heroes get remembered, but this legend never dies. Kassia Davis of New Balance lineage took up the line and spun it back off into an independent brand in 2021. They returned to the wholesale retail circuit in 2025, and Ethan and Omar quickly snapped up a business card to ensure this piece of American heritage found a spot here at Porterhouse.
