Alpaca Sweater

After a year of tests, tweaks, and prototypes, Gitman created a sweater that layers perfectly over their shirts. Button down collars fit snuggly through the sweater’s crewneck, sleeves are aligned just right, and Gitman even added a chest pocket to mimic the same detail on their shirts. The sweater is the peanut butter to Gitman Vintage shirt’s jelly, the gin to its tonic, the Simon to its Garfunkel… You get the gist.

The alpaca wool they sourced came from a set of small scale, indigenous owned farms in the Peruvian highlands where alpacas thrive. In addition to fair trade certification, the wool is also certified by OKEO-TEX, meeting the highest standards of textile non-toxicity. Trust us when we say this is the good stuff.
