Brown Brushed Cotton Tweed Chore Shirt

Tweed is one of those enigmatic fabrics that is more of a category than it is a specific thing. For Gitman, tweed is a twill-woven fabric characterized by neppy mélange yarns that create a rich breadth of color within an earth-toned base. But beyond nerdy definitions, tweed is one of those fabrics that just oozes with autumnal qualities.

Pay close attention to this particular model from Gitman. Due to the hefty weight of this fabric we saw it as an opportunity to convert this into a utilitarian piece of workwear. We had Gitman but an additional two pockets at the bottom of the shirt for a very causal play on the chore coat design. It functions easily as a shirt but you have the versatility of a jacket w/ those extra pockets if need be.
