Chambray has long been workwear’s favorite fabric. After all, it fills a unique role that incorporates lightweight breathability with sturdiness and reliability. The chambray Gitman use was developed just for them by their Japanese partner mill in 2008, and it’s been unchanged ever since.
At Porterhouse, we've sought for a long time a proper core chambray shirt that we could fall back on regardless of the season. This chambray shirt from Gitman is the result of that search.

About Gitman Vintage
While Gitman Bros. wasn't on the books until 1978, the Gitmans had been sewing shirts and PJs on contract since 1932.
Gitman Vintage spun off in 2008, revisiting old Gitman linebooks and archives to make old new again. The results are inherently classic in style.
