Peruvian Highland Cable Knit Sweater

The cableknit sweater has clear and defined roots in vintage clothing. Wythe kept pulling these cableknit sweaters out of the archive and continually saying "wow, these are really good" enough times where they knew they had to make some themselves. Inspired by older ivy sweaters, Wythe worked with their new knitting parters in Peru to really knock these out of the park, and were able to come up with their own knitting pattern in the process.

So rather than sending the yarns halfway around the world to be knit elsewhere, Wythe found it very important to really localize this whole program. The Peruvian knitters work with local farms to source the wool from the Andean Highlands, so there's really not much traveling this wool endures before it becomes the final product.
