Purple Cotton/Linen Archive Madras

A Gitman Vintage spring/summer collection is never complete without madras fabrics from their own archives! However, it's not often they recreate their old fabrics in a blend of cotton and linen. This purple and red colorway was originally released in their SS80 collection, just two years after they manufactured the first shirt at their Ashland, PA factory. With added linen content, this style feels much more robust than its 100% cotton counterparts.

Fabric - 3.5oz 85% cotton 15% linen woven in Italy.

Gitman's classic button down shirts are cut slim with a tailored fit through the body and sleeves. Unlined collars and cuffs and their pre-washing process creates a softer look and helps to minimize additional shrinkage. Made in the USA.
