The limited edition cotton version of Sable's very first bandana, Wish You Were Here. They took inspiration from vintage souvenir bandanas and surrealist paintings by Salvador Dali and Leonor Fini. The central photograph perfectly illustrates the brand's ethos: “Out of the prairie, into dreamland.”
For this collection’s theme of rebirth, Sable subverted symbols from their upbringing and gave them new meaning. Balancing masculinity and femininity, snakes are a traditional symbol of both fertility and death. Their ability to shed their skin echoes their central image. In the background you can find moths and skulls, which recall transformation and the stages of life.
