This Howlin' cardigan features a distinctive cable pattern traditional to Aran sweaters, inspired by the ropes used by fishermen. The honeycomb pattern represents the hardworking bee, as fishermen believe encountering a swarm of bees brings good luck. And finally, diamonds symbolize the treasures of the sea and success.

These sweaters are manufactured in the Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland. The responsibly sourced wool comes from sheep that roam freely on the fells and downs of the British Isles. Every year they are sheared in the Spring months, which helps rid them of potentially damaging infections and keeps them cool during the summer months.
